Planning Board To Meet Thursday

LITTLE VALLEY – The Cattaraugus County Planning Board will meet at 7 p.m. Thursday in the large committee room on the third floor of the Cattaraugus County Building, 303 Court St., Little Valley. Agenda items include a site plan review for the Bonaventure Square development in Allegany. The public is welcome to attend.

Equine Committee To Meet Tuesday

LITTLE VALLEY – The Cattaraugus County Equine Advisory Committee will meet at 7 p.m. Tuesday in the large committee room on the third floor of the Cattaraugus County Building, 303 Court St., Little Valley. The public is welcome to attend.

Singles Group To Meet March 16

The Christ First United Methodist Church Singles Group is currently accepting reservations for the presentation of the drama ”The Desperate Group” on Saturday, March 16, in the Lucille Ball Little Theater. Group rate tickets are available if attending with the singles group. For more information or reservations, call 483-5691. The Singles recently met for a Valentine’s eve dinner and dessert in Alfie’s restaurant, hosted by Jody Terhune. Membership in the group is open to any single person between 18 and 99.

Library Board To Meet Monday

ELLINGTON – The trustees board of the Farman Free Library, 760 Thornton Road, Ellington, in the former Lock Stock and Barrel building, will meet at 7 p.m. on Monday. Board meetings are open to the public. For more information call the library at 287-2945.

Lakewood Legion To Host Dinner

LAKEWOOD – Lakewood American Legion Post 1286 will host “The Untouchables” from 7-11 p.m. Friday. Dinners will be served from 5-9 p.m. All members and guests are welcome.

Coupon Seminar Set Is Wednesday

Edgewood Communities on the Lutheran Campus is hosting a free seminar for all ages on ways to save money with coupons. Amie Libby, M.S., service coordinator for Lutheran Senior Housing will present “Easy Couponing. Shop Smart. Save Money” on Wednesday in the Lutheran Chapel at 715 Falconer St. at 6:30 p.m. In case of a cancellation due to a snow storm, the event will be rescheduled for the following Wednesday, March 6 at the same time and location. Ms. Libby will also share tips on accessing helpful websites and blogs. Participants do not have to be computer savvy to enjoy the seminar. Reunion Group To Meet Thursday

The Dunkirk High School/Cardinal Mindszenty High School class of 1968 reunion committee will meet at 7 p.m. on Thursday in the home of Lenore Fiebelkorn, 21 Finch St., Dunkirk. Discussion will be on finalizing the menu, price and the invitation. Any interested former classmates are welcome to attend this meeting.
