Mailed Marijuana Brings Charges To Fredonia Man

FREDONIA – A 22-year-old Fredonia man has been charged with third-degree criminal possession of marijuana after an investigation by members of the Fredonia Police Department and the U.S. Postal Service, with assistance from the Southern Tier Regional Drug Task Force.

It is alleged that Justin D. Black of Brigham Road has been receiving large quantities of marijuana through the U.S. Mail, and distributing the marijuana throughout the Fredonia area. Agencies executed the delivery of a package intended for Black, and executed a search warrant of his residence.

Black is scheduled to be in the Village of Fredonia Justice Court pending arraignment on the criminal charge.
