LAKEWOOD-BUSTI POLICE

Brian D. Olsen, 26, of Busti-Sugar Grove Road was charged with driving while intoxicated, DWI per se, speeding, consumption of alcohol in a motor vehicle and unlawful possession of marijuana. On Tuesday, police stopped Olsen on Forest Avenue Extension for speeding. An investigation found he was allegedly intoxicated and in possession of marijuana. Olsen was issued appearance and traffic tickets and released. He is due back in court at a later date.

ELLICOTT POLICE

Ashley N. Porter, 22, of Maple Street, Jamestown was charged with fourth-degree criminal mischief. Police responded on Feb. 15 for a complaint at a residence. Porter was issued an appearance ticket to appear in court at a later date.

CATTARAUGUS COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE

ALLEGANY – Darren M. Cruz, 27, of Bradford, Pa., was charged with being a fugitive of justice, third-degree attempted escape and unlawful possession of marijuana. Police on Feb. 16 arrested Cruz on a warrant. He was arraigned and remanded to Cattaraugus County Jail. Cruz will appear in court at a later date.

DAYTON – Eric W. Dustin, 28, and Brian A. Dustin, 27, were charged with operating a snowmobile while intoxicated, operating with a blood alcohol content of .08 percent or higher, unregistered vehicle and uninsured vehicle. Both were processed and released and are due back in Dayton Court at a later date.

RANDOLPH – Randall A. Shaffer Jr., 28, of William Street was charged on Feb. 15 with fourth-degree grand larceny. Shaffer was arraigned and remanded to County Jail.

RANDOLPH – Michael A. Doner, 19, of Dean Street was arrested Feb. 15 on a bench warrant out of the city of Salamanca. Doner was turned over to Salamanca police for further processing.

RANDOLPH – Tyler L. Griffin, 18, of Kingsley Street, was charged with third-degree assault. Police charged Griffin on Feb. 14 in the town of Randolph. He was issued an appearance ticket and is due back in court at a later date.

RANDOLPH – Christopher M. Powers, 27, of Fifth Avenue was charged with second-degree forgery. On Feb. 15, Powers was arrested on a warrant out of Salamanca. He was arraigned and remanded to County Jail.

RANDOLPH – Daniel D. Visker, 26, was charged with second-degree forgery and second-degree possession of a forged instrument. On Feb. 15, Visker was arrested on a warrant out of Salamanca. He was arraigned and remanded to County Jail.

YORKSHIRE – Alan L. Murphy, 20, of Middle Road was charged with third-degree aggravated unlicensed operation. Deputies on Feb. 16 stopped Murphy’s vehicle and found his license was allegedly suspended. Murphy was arraigned and bail was set and posted in court.
