Lutheran Awards Two Promotions
Tom Holt, Lutheran president and CEO, recently announced the promotion of Pam Nordin, RN, WCC, from the director of nursing to assistant administrator of the Lutheran Home and Rehabilitation Program. Susan Ball, a registered nurse with more than 30 years of experience, was appointed as the new director of nursing.
“This was a great opportunity for us to recognize Pam’s leadership, her 15 years of dedicated service to our residents and promote from within Lutheran,” Holt said. “She is well-respected by the residents and families and has been a passionate voice for resident rights and quality.”
Nordin is a registered nurse with more than 30 years of health care experience. She has completed the comprehensive training to earn the distinction of a wound care certified practitioner. She began her tenure at Lutheran as an evening shift supervisor and continued to advance in her career to nurse manager and assistant director of nursing. She was promoted to director of nursing in 2004.
Ball is a native of the area. Most recently, Ball worked for the Warren/Forest Area Agency on Aging. Her career includes critical care nursing, teaching, working with older adults and supervising home health care employees.
“Sue has an exceptional background in both clinical and community settings,” Holt said. “She will be a wonderful addition to our team.”
