Pleas And Sentences

A Jamestown man was sentenced Monday in Chautauqua County Court to eight years in state prison and five years of post-release supervision after his conviction of two counts of first-degree robbery.

Carlos J. Torres, 33, robbed two Wilson Farms stores in Jamestown in April 2012. At 6:40 p.m. April 10, 2012, Torres went into the Wilson Farms at 1011 E. Second St., showed the cashier a weapon and demanded money. He then ran through the former Dahlstrom’s Building on East Second Street. Around 9:10 p.m., officers were dispatched to a robbery at the Wilson Farms at 518 N. Main St., Jamestown. Torres was charged a short time later.

Other sentences announced Monday by David Foley, Chautauqua County district attorney, include:

Joshua M. Anzalone, 26, of 617 Washington Ave., Dunkirk, was sentenced to three to six years in state prison for third-degree burglary.

Julian E. Duman, 17, of 634 Main St., Dunkirk, was sentenced to two years determinate in state prison and two years post-release supervision for fourth-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance.

Brandon Andino, 27, of 208 S. Gazelle St., Dunkirk, was sentenced to two years in state prison and one year of post-release supervision for fifth-degree attempted criminal sale of a controlled substance.

Dominic Mooney, 19, of 12576 Allegany Road, Silver Creek, was sentenced to six months in jail and 10 years probation for second-degree rape.

Samuel Hoard, 79, of 7663 Parcell Road, Stockton, was sentenced to six years probation for second-degree two counts of misdemeanor sexual abuse.

Scott Couchman, 43, of 9598 Adams Road, Fredonia, was sentenced to five years probation, a $2,000 fine, a one-year driver’s license revocation and 60 months ignition-interlock device for felony DWI.

Susan F. Harmon, 51, of 1000 Holmes Road, Silver Creek, was sentenced to five years probation, a $2,000 fine and 60 months ignition-interlock device for felony DWI.

Zachiel Fields, 33, of 115 Curtis St., Jamestown, was sentenced to five years probation and six months license suspension for two counts of second-degree criminal possession of marijuana, to run concurrently.

Thomas A. McMahon, 34, of 685 Abbott Road, Buffalo, was sentenced to five years probation, a $2,000 fine and 60 months ignition-interlock device for felony DWI.

Tiffany C. Bindics, 31, of 16 Whitley Ave., upper apartment, Jamestown, was sentenced to 30 days in jail and five years probation for second-degree attempted criminal possession of a forged instrument.

May S. Stilson, 34, of 70 Sturges St., Apt. 2, Jamestown, was sentenced to time served and five years probation for third-degree attempted criminal sale of a controlled substance and fifth-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance.

Damian Young, 23, of 51 East Fifth St., Dunkirk, was sentenced to time served and five years probation for fifth-degree criminal sale of a controlled substance.

Matthew R. Aldrich, 28, of P.O. Box 41, E. Randolph, was sentenced to a $500 fine for misdemeanor DWI.
