Clymer Ends Sherman’s Hopes Of Division 4 Title Sherman Clymer

SHERMAN – With a big assistance from Clymer, Brocton reigns as this year’s Division 4 champion.

The foul line was the difference as the Pirates (8-3) made 19-of-27 while Sherman (10-2, 13-5) could hit on only 10-of-26 en route to a 49-46 victory.

The loss by Sherman knocked it out of a first place tie with Brocton.

Dan Lictus had a superb all-around performance by scoring 19 points, grabbing 14 rebounds, having five assists and four rejections for Clymer, which is the third-place team in the league.

Lictus made 9-of-12 from the foul line and had 17 points as the Pirates took a slim 33-30 lead at halftime.

Jake Wiggers tallied 12 points and hauled down five rebounds while Mitch Einink added 10 points in the win.

Jake Card led Sherman with 14 rebounds and teammate Ryan Robson chipped in with five assists and three steals to go along with a team-high nine points. Andrew Graham contributed eight points.
