Area Police Reports


OLEAN – Stephanie Crossairt, 21, Green Street, was charged with seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance. Police on Monday at 9:43 a.m. charged Crossairt for allegedly possessing three 20mg Vyzance pills in her purse while being processed at the jail. She was taken to Little Valley Court and was arraigned. Crossairt is due back in court at a later date.

RANDOLPH – Tyler T. Barber on Saturday was charged with petit larceny and third-degree forgery. Barber was charged following an investigation at the Turtle Pit Smoke Shop. Barber was arraigned and released. Barber will appear back in court at a later date.

SALAMANCA – Christopher J. Chase, 23, was charged with second-degree harassment. Deputies on Saturday evening responded to a domestic incident at a residence in Salamanca. Following an investigation, Chase was charged and taken to court for arraignment. He was released and is due back in court at a later date.

PORTVILLE – Lisa M. Beeman, 29, of Lillibridge Road, was charged with allegedly violating probation. Deputies on Saturday issued a warrant for Beeman for violating probation. She was turned over to Olean police to await arraignment.

SOUTH DAYTON – Nadine A. Nietupski, 23, of High Street, Cassadaga, was charged with second-degree criminal possession of a forged instrument. Police on Saturday at 9 p.m. charged Nietupski after a warrant was issued in Randolph Court. She was arraigned and remanded to Cattaraugus County Jail.

ASHFORD – John M. Burn, 49, of Newman Street, Springville, was charged with second-degree harassment and second-degree criminal contempt. Police on Feb. 8 charged Burn after a warrant was issued in Ashford Court stemming from an incident that occurred on Feb. 7. He was arraigned and remanded to county jail.

EAST OTTO – Donald R. Macmillan, 45, of Hill Road, was charged with driving while intoxicated, unsafe tire, failure to keep right, failure to maintain lane and consumption of alcohol in a motor vehicle. Police on Feb. 7 were dispatched to a car accident. Macmillan was allegedly observed leaving in the vehicle that had front-end damage. He is due back in court at a later date.

NEW ALBION – Jamie M. Jimerson, 38, of Eagle Street, Salamanca, was charged with third-degree burglary and petit larceny. Police on Saturday received a call of a possible burglary. An investigation found a gas can had been taken from a garage. Jimerson was taken to Otto Court and was arraigned. She was remanded to county jail.

SALAMANCA – Todd C. Ullman, 53, of Washington Street, was charged with seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance and unlawful possession of marijuana. A search warrant was executed Monday at 4:35 p.m. in Salamanca following an investigation by the Sheriff’s Office and members of the Southern Tier Regional Drug Task Force. Salamanca police also assisted. Ullman was issued an appearance ticket and is to appear in Salamanca Court at a later date. Additional charges are pending.


BEMUS POINT – Michael Babbage, 19, was charged with fourth-degree criminal possession of a weapon. Troopers on Monday pulled Babbage over on Route 430 for allegedly not wearing his seatbelt. Police smelled marijuana in the vehicle, and when searching the vehicle found a billy club 2 feet in length. Babbage was processed and released on an appearance ticket. He was not charged with marijuana possession as the amount located did not constitute a violation of the law.

KENNEDY – Dorene Camarata, 63, was charged with second-degree harassment. Troopers on Feb. 6 responded to a residence for a complaint of harassment. The victim reported allegedly being harassed by Camarata on several occasions. Camarata is scheduled to appear in court to answer the charge.
