Marvin House Lunch Is Feb. 21
The Marvin Community House monthly membership lunch will be at noon on Thursday, Feb. 21. Greeters will be Helen Patti and Sue Shifano, and Sonya Burkett and Janet Gibson will be cashiers. Gibson will also give the invocation. The program will be a presentation on ”Jamestown’s Connection to the Underground Railroad,” and a panel discussion by Paul Leone, B. Carroll Seniors To Meet Feb. 18
FREWSBURG – The Carroll Senior Citizens of Frewsburg will meet on Monday, Feb. 18, at noon for a tureen luncheon. Attendees are invited to bring a dish to pass and their own table service.
Prendergast Library will offer the third program in its Critical Discussion Series on the topic of the Health Exchange from 6-8 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 19, in the Fireplace Room at the library. Chaired by Ann Abdella, executive director of the Chautauqua County Health Network, the panel will consist of Todd Tranum, president & CEO at Chautauqua County Chamber of Commerce & Manufacturers Association; Roberta Keller, executive director at Chautauqua Opportunities Inc; Art Wingerter, president of Univera Healthcare; and Dr. Rudy Mueller. Story Time To Be Held In Busti

JHS Class Of 1978 To Reunite
The Jamestown High School Class of 1978 35th class reunion will be held on July 6, 2013, at the newly renovated Jamestown Train Station. Events will include an “ice breaker” on July 5, a tour of JHS, and the establishment of a memorial scholarship fund in honor of classmates that have died. It is the goal of the committee to use and highlight Jamestown businesses and reach out to every class member.
