JAMESTOWN POLICE DEPARTMENT

Jason A. Gallo, of 7 Terrace Place, Jamestown was charged at 8:36 p.m. on Thursday with second-degree harassment and endangering the welfare of a child. Officers responded to 7 Terrace Place for a domestic incident. Upon arrival, officers located Gallo inside the residence and the victim outside. After further investigation, Gallo pushed and hit the victim several times prior to officers arrival, and there was a child in a proximity to the altercation. Gallo was arrested, without incident, transported to city jail without incident and he is awaiting arraignment.

NEW YORK STATE POLICE

SOUTH DAYTON – Stevens A. Masters, 29, was charged with unlawful possession of marijuana at 3:05 a.m. Tuesday on Park Street. It was reported to troopers that Masters was an unwanted guest in a nearby residence. He was located sleeping in the passenger seat of a car parked outside the Park Street residence. During the investigation, it was discovered that Masters was in possession of a small quantity of marijuana and two smoking pipes. He was released on an appearance ticket for Village of South Dayton Court on Monday at 7:30 p.m.

SALAMANCA POLICE DEPARTMENT

Charles H. McCracken, 31, of 85 Summit St., Salamanca was taken into custody on a bench warrant Wednesday for failure to pay a fine. He posted $160 bail and will appear in City Court on Feb. 13 at 9 a.m.

Judson D. Beattie, 26, of 74 Adams St., Salamanca was taken into custody on a bench warrant for trespassing and second-degree harassment Tuesday. He was issued an appearance ticket for City Court.

Jason Knapp, 22, of 14 Linwood Ave., Salamanca was charged with unlawful possession of marijuana Tuesday. He was issued an appearance ticket for City Court on Feb. 15 at 9 a.m.

Jacob A. Robinson, 19, of 4345 Route 353, Salamanca was charged with unlawful possession of marijuana Tuesday. He was issued an appearance ticket for City Court on Feb. 15 at 9 a.m.

Thomas C. Oldshield, 25, of 174 Clinton St., Salamanca was taken into custody on a bench warrant. He is due back in City Court at a later date.

PENNSYLVANIA

STATE POLICE

PLEASANT – Brian A. Scharrer, 23, of Youngsville, Pa., was charged with being a habitual offender, driving with a suspended license for driving under the influence.

PITTSFIELD – Gerald Hultberg was charged with burglary, criminal trespass and theft following an incident on Kane Road on Jan. 28.
