Karen S. Hartmann

SINCLAIRVILLE – Karen S. Hartmann, 63, of Sinclairville, died Thursday, Feb. 7, 2013, at home.

She was born March 4, 1949, in Westfield, the daughter of Raymond Turck of Summerdale, and Bettie Dulmus Pinder of Stewart, Fla.

Karen was employed for 12 years as a quality con-trol supervisor for Basic Micro Electronics in Riviera Beach, Fla.

She enjoyed crafts, especially crocheting, sewing doll clothes and macrame, and made and donated Christmas ornaments to the Second Chance program of the Chautauqua County Human Society for their fundraiser. Karen loved adopting rescued dogs.

Wife of 41 years to David L. Hartmann, whom she married July 31, 1971; mother of Joseph M. (Roberta) Hartmann of Jamestown, and Dana (Eric) Baker of Westfield; grandmother of Marlana Hartmann and Stacy and Danny Baker; great-grandmother of Gracelynn Chadwick- Hartmann and Macie Bruce; sister of Barbara Green of Summerdale, and Darlene Weber of Dunkirk. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.

The funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Monday in Jordan Funeral Home, Sinclairville. Visitation will be 2-5 p.m. Sunday. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery, Sinclairville.
