CHAUTAUQUA COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE

ELLERY – Two 16-year-old juveniles were issued appearance tickets on Wednesday at 10:59 p.m. after an investigation of marijuana was conducted on Dutch Hollow Road. Two female subjects were allegedly found to be in possession of marijuana. Both are scheduled to appear in Ellery Court at a later date.

RIPLEY – Wanda Bentley, 67, of Loomis Street was charged with petit larceny. Bentley was charged following an investigation that she allegedly stole signs that were in support of a “no” vote in the Ripley school consolidation talks. Bentley was issued an appearance ticket and will appear in Ripley Court at a later date.

ELLICOTT POLICE DEPARTMENT

Jennifer M. McIntyre, 28, of Shadyside Road, Busti was charged with petit larceny and endangering the welfare of a child. Police on Tuesday were called to Home Depot on Fairmount Avenue at 5 p.m. for a female who had allegedly walked out of the store with a drill set and leaving in a black SUV. The woman was later found at a Busti residence. McIntyre was issued an appearance ticket and will appear in Ellicott Court at a later date.

Joseph P. Pratt, 25, of Kiantone Road was charged with theft of service. Police on Jan. 23 responded to Red Roof Inn for a suspect who had spent the night at the hotel but allegedly did not pay. Police were told Pratt was identified as the subject, and a warrant was issued. He was arraigned in Ellicott Court and remanded to Chautauqua County Jail.

Anthony M. Spitale, 17, of Dailey Hill Road was charged with petit larceny. Spitale was charged after an investigation of a pair of sweatpants that were allegedly removed from a school locker. Spitale was given an appearance ticket and will appear in court at a later date.

NEW YORK STATE POLICE

JAMESTOWN – E. Marquelle Marshall, 18, of Dunkirk was charged with unlawful possession of marijuana. Police stopped a vehicle on Route 60 in the town of Ellicott for no tail lights. Police could allegedly smell marijuana in the vehicle and later found three grams. Marshall was released on an appearance ticket.
