Croscut To Be On Senior Report
“Senior Report with Reed Powers” will have Fred Croscut as the guest on Saturday. Croscut is a legislator for Chautauqua County. The live, call-in program airs from 9-10 a.m. Individuals may call 753-5225 during that time with questions, comments or a shout-out. The program is rebroadcast each day at 2 p.m. and 8 p.m. for some communities. Powers has been producing the television program since 1995. The series highlights senior citizen club news for 15 minutes with the remainder of the hour-long program devoted to the featured guest. The guest is subject to change. “Senior Report” is shown live on Saturday mornings on Time Warner Cable systems covering the following communities: Brocton, Cassadaga, Chautauqua, Fredonia, Mayville, North Harmony, Portland, Ripley, Sherman, Stockton and Westfield on Channel 5. In Dunkirk, Falconer, Forestville, Hanover, Irving, Jamestown, Lakewood and Silver Creek the program is on channel 19. The show originates at the Access Channel 5 studio in Mayville.
Legion To Host Music Group
LAKEWOOD – The Lakewood American Legion will host ‘Derek Davis and the Tasty Groove’ from 7-11 p.m. Friday. Dinner will be served from 5-9 p.m. All members and guests are welcome.
Book Sale Begins Feb. 15
MAYVILLE – The Mayville Library, 92 S. Erie St., Mayville, will hold its annual cabin fever book sale during Presidents Day weekend, from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Friday, Feb. 15 and 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturday, Feb. 16. Driving Course Begins Monday
SALAMANCA – AARP will host a six-hour driver safety class at the Salamanca Senior Center on Monday and Tuesday from 6-9 p.m. each night.
