Frewsburg Lions To?Hold Pancake Breakfast
At the recent meeting of the Frewsburg Lions Club, plans were finalized for the upcoming pancake breakfast. The breakfast will be held on Saturday from 8-11 a.m. in Zion Lutheran Church Fellowship Hall, 45 Falconer St.
Prices are $6 for adults, $3 for children ages 5-10. Children under 5 are free. Lion Marty Hunt is chair of this event.
On behalf of Lions International, President Gary Wells presented a Membership Advancement Key to Hunt in recognition that she has sponsored at least five new members during her tenure as a Lions Club member.
De Warn reported that he recently submitted 265 pairs of used eyeglasses, a hearing aid, and 55 pairs of lenses only for recycling. Jon and Kristen Anderson are chairing the club’s recognition of community members for community service. The recognition will take place at the April 8 meeting of the club.
Following the business meeting, Martha Dove reviewed the proposed language for the club constitution. It will be voted on in February.
The next meeting of the club is on Feb. 11 in the community room at Frewsburg Central School. This will be Spouses and Friends Night.
