CHAUTAUQUA COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE
WESTFIELD – Nathan Horton, 27, of Pleasant Avenue, Westfield, and Johnathan Hudson, 26, of East Main Street, Westfield, were charged with second-degree criminal mischief and criminal liability for conduct of another. Police said an investigation began between the Sheriff’s Office and Westfield police that led to the charges against Horton and Hudson. Police said on Jan. 7, both suspects allegedly entered a car sales lot and attempted to cut the catalytic converters off two vehicles. Horton and Hudson turned themselves in to Westfield court after warrants for their arrests were issued. Both were committed to Chautauqua County Jail and will appear in court at a later date.
WESTFIELD POLICE DEPARTMENT
Ryan L. Lacey, 19, of Erie, Pa., and an 18-year old Harborcreek, Pa., resident were charged with unlawful possession of marijuana. Police on Jan. 26 at 6:56 p.m. observed a vehicle allegedly traveling at a high rate of speed. Upon investigation, police found two males allegedly in possession of marijuana. Lacey was additionally charged with speeding. Both subjects will appear in court at a later date.
CATTARAUGUS COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE
PERRYSBURG – Jill E. Fried, 36, of Ellicott Avenue, Batavia, was charged with driving while intoxicated, DWI more than .18 percent, failure to maintain lane and open container violation. Police on Jan. 26 at 7:25 p.m. charged Fried after she was found stuck in a snowbank on Prospect Street in the town of Perrysburg. She is due back in court at a later date.
RED HOUSE – Randall S. McMurtry was charged with speed not reasonable and prudent. On Jan. 26 at 5:55 p.m., deputies responded after a tractor-trailer driven by McMurtry traveled off the road on Interstate 86 near exit 19. The tractor trailer traveled down a steep embankment and collided with multiple trees and brush. McMurtry was issued a citation.
OLEAN – Sharon A. Bordonaro, 32, of Maple Hill Road, was charged with possession of a hypodermic instrument. Police on Jan. 26 charged Bordonaro following an incident that occurred Jan. 16 in the town of Hinsdale. She was processed and released and will appear in court at a later date.
OLEAN – Kara U. Greeley, 27, of North Union Street, on Jan. 25 was arrested on a bench warrant issued out of Olean court for failure to appear. She was turned over to sheriff’s deputies and arraigned in Olean court.
NEW ALBION – Corey J. Furl, 29, of Mill Street, East Otto, was charged with second-degree aggravated unlicensed operation, operating with a suspended registration, operating without an ignition interlock, uninsured motor vehicle and obstructed plate. Police on Jan. 20 allegedly observed Furl driving on Lovers Lane with an obstructed license plate. Investigation found had a suspended registration and no insurance. Furl is due back in court at a later date.
