Hunter Thorpe had a big day when Rock Hill beat Arby’s, 6-3, at the Jamestown Savings Bank Ice Arena on Saturday.

Thorpe delivered the hat trick and two assists for Rock Hill while Alan Christie had two goals and a assist.

Another goal was scored by Collin Melquist and Patrick Radka had two assists in the win.

Jordan Rose had two goals for Arby’s and Blade Ellis one for Arby’s. Kate Daugharthy delivered two assists.

Aiden Melquist was the winning goalie and Kaleb Bender was the Arby’s goalie.

Rose scored twice and Nathan Radka got his first goal of the season as Rock Hill edged Arby’s, 3-2, on Thursday night at the Jamestown Savings Bank Ice Arena.

Patrick Radka ended up with two assists in the victory for goalie Andrew MacCallum.

Ellis and Andrew Telford tallied for Arby’s while assists went to Ben Welker, Hunter Thorpe, Alex Kolstee and Garrett Darts.

Ben Lockwood was in goal for Arby’s.


The Jamestown Lakers’ line of Trenton Shutters, Cooper Spielman and Will Turner combined for 17 points as they defeated the Cheektowaga Warriors No. 2, 8-2, on Sunday morning at the Jamestown Savings Bank Arena.

Shutters scored four goals with an assist, Spielman had two goals and four assists, and Turner had a goal and five assists for the Lakers. Also scoring for the Lakers was Jack Brinkley from Devin Wolfe and Callum Smith while Evan Bishop had two assists in the win.

Matt Mergenhagen scored twice while Jason Krestic had an assist for the Warriors.

Aiden Gibbons picked up the win in net for Jamestown.
