City Man Faces Six Charges Following Domestic Incident
LAKEWOOD – John D. Rivera, 33, of 116 Westcott St., lower apartment, Jamestown, was charged with third-degree criminal mischief, third-degree assault, first-degree unlawful imprisonment, second-degree mancing, sexual misconduct and criminal obstruction of breathing or blood circulation on Friday.
According to a police report, Rivera was involved in a domestic dispute on Forest Avenue Extension in Busti. A Busti woman told police that, at 12:30 p.m. Thursday, Rivera, who is a former acquaintance of hers, came to her home, leading to an incident between the two. Rivera then left before police arrived.
A warrant was issued and Rivera was charged. He was arraigned in Busti Town Court and taken to the Chautauqua County Jail on $10,000 bail.
He will be in Busti Town Court later.
