Legislature Votes Against Sale Of County Home To Rothner
The Chautauqua County Legislature has voted 16-9 against a possible sale of the county home to potential purchaser William (Avi) Rothner, of Altitude Health Services. A total of 17 votes were needed to approve the sale. The legislature is continuing to discuss other votes still on the table, including whether to continue the marketing of the county home, and approval of IGT funds.
