WESTFIELD POLICE DEPARTMENT

Eran J. Sonney, 23, of Girard, Pa., was charged with a broken windshield and speeding. Police on Wednesday observed a vehicle at a high rate of speed and a broken windshield. Upon further investigation, police found marijuana and a marijuana bong in plain view. Multiple bags of marijuana, ecstasy and Psilocybin mushrooms were in possession by the passenger, Phillip D. Trohoske. He was charged with fourth-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, and seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance. Trohoske was arraigned in Village of Westfield Court and bail was set at $15,000 cash, $30,000 property. Further charges are pending.

CHAUTAUQUA COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE

LAKEWOOD – Brandon B. Butler, 25, of Cherry Lane, was charged with third-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance and third-degree criminal sale of a controlled substance. Police on Wednesday arrested Butler on an active warrant from City of Jamestown Court based on information supplied by the Southern Tier Regional Drug Task Force. It is alleged that over the course of the last three months, Butler had sold quantities of heroin to agents in Jamestown. He was turned over to the Chautauqua County Sheriff’s Office, arraigned in city court and remanded to Chautauqua County Jail without bail pending further court action. Additional charges are pending.

TOWN OF ELLICOTT POLICE

Justin A. Caruso, 26, of Fairdale Avenue, Lakewood, was charged was issuing a bad check. Caruso was issued an appearance ticket after it was reported that he issued a check with insufficient funds to a business in the town of Ellicott. He will appear in court at a later date.
