Carroll Seniors To Meet Jan. 21

FREWSBURG – The Carroll Senior Citizens will meet at the Frewsburg American Legion Building on Monday, Jan. 21, for their regularly scheduled meeting. A soup and sandwich luncheon will be held at noon at a cost of $5 a person. Anyone interested should call Mary Himes at 569-6110 by Jan. 16 to make a reservation.

Antique Auto Club To Meet

The Chautauqua Lake Region Antique Automobile Club will meet at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday in the Fluvanna War Vets. Guests are welcome to attend. The club is open to anyone interested in antique and classic automobiles. For more information, call Al Oag at 483-6287.

War Vets To Hold Meeting

The War Vets Recreation Inc. will hold its annual membership meeting at 6:30 p.m. Thursday at 3431 Fluvanna Ave., in the clubhouse castle room. It is open to all veteran members. All veteran members are required to show their membership cards for entrance into the meeting.

Board Of Health To Meet

The Chautauqua County Board of Health will hold its meeting on Thursday at 6 p.m. in the HRC Building fourth-floor conference room, Mayville. Anyone seeking further information or wishing to attend this meeting should call the Public Health Director’s Office at 753-4314.

School District To Hold Forums

SALAMANCA – The Salamanca City Central School District will hold two “Community Budget Forums” from 6-7 p.m. on Thursday and Thursday, Feb. 7, in the Junior/Senior High School Large Group Instruction Room to gather information on how the community feels about the district’s budget for the upcoming 2013-14 school year. The forum will provide an opportunity for the community to share its concerns and thoughts about the development of the fiscal spending plan.

Ripley School Board To Meet

RIPLEY – The Ripley Central School board will meet at 6:30 p.m. Thursday in the school’s small gym. A presentation on tuitioning of students to Chautauqua Lake Central School is among the items to be discussed. The public is welcome to attend.

MS Group To Hold Session

The Chautauqua Region Multiple Sclerosis Rap Group will hold its monthly ”rap session” from 9:30-11:30 a.m. Saturday in the Jones Hill Memorial Rehabilitation Center auditorium, 51 Glasgow Ave., Jamestown. This open discussion support group meeting is available to all those dealing with MS, their families and friends. Panama Midget Football To Meet

PANAMA – The yearly organizational meeting of the Panama Panthers midget football program will be Thursday in the school cafeteria at 7 p.m. An overview of the program for players and cheerleaders will take place along with election of team board members.
