Marilyn H. Johnson
Marilyn H. Johnson, 78, of 61 Woodworth Ave., died Monday, Jan. 7, 2013, in her home surrounded by her loving family.
She was born Jan. 9, 1934, in Jamestown, the daughter of the late L. Ray-mond and E. Hildur Ander-son Morgan.
She was a 1952 graduate of Jamestown High School.
She was employed by the Jamestown Public Schools as a teacher’s aide.
Her memberships include Bethel Lutheran Church and the Antique Club.
The family wishes to thank the staff of Hospice Chautauqua County for the care and kindness shown to Marilyn.
Surviving are her hus-band, Roger E. Johnson, whom she married April 11, 1953; two daughters: Lori (Mark) Nystrom and Beth Johnson, both of James-town; sister-in-law, Elfie Morgan; nephew, Craig (Deb) Johnson; niece, Gretchen (Phillip) Milnes; and cousins: Betty (Frank) Traniello, Barbara (the late Owen) Cranston, Henry (Janice) Lindahl and Timothy (Irene) Miller.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers: Jack and Russell Morgan.
The funeral will be held at 11 a.m. Friday in the Lind Funeral Home. The Rev. Adam Miller-Stub-bendick will officiate.
Burial will be in Lake View Cemetery.
Friends will be received from 4-6 p.m. Thursday in the funeral home.
