Ellicott Approves Reapportionment, Discusses Vacant Seat

FALCONER – Town of Ellicott residents will see a slight difference in their ward lines following the town board’s annual organizational meeting Monday night.

The board unanimously adopted a town reapportionment proposal, which annexes a small portion of Ward 4 on to Ward 2. The annexation was necessary to keep all ward population sizes within 5 percent of each other.

The board also discussed possible replacements for the vacant seat in Ward 3 left by Lucian Lodestro.
