A-L Comes On In Fourth To Top Falconer

FALCONER – Falconer held its own against Allegany-Limestone through the first three quarters, but the Gators pulled away in the final stanza for a 53-39 victory in Division 1 boys basketball on Monday night.

The Golden Falcons (0-4, 1-9) were solid through the first half and held a four-point lead going into the third. That’s when the Gators jumped head with a 20-13 run and their defense held Falconer two just two points in the fourth quarter.

Dominic Sagumben and Ryan Vossler led the Gators with 13 points each.

Nick Conti and Kyle Petersen led Falconer with 12 points apiece while Devon Cameron collected nine rebounds and Mike Wilcox had six boards.
