Exercise Classes Being Offered
CHAUTAUQUA – Chautauqua Health and Fitness, located in the Turner Community Center at Chautauqua Institution on Route 394, is offering 13 group exercise classes this winter. Classes include morning and Saturday cycling sessions, Pilates, yoga, kickboxing, Zumba Fitness, ballroom dancing and a water workout class in the Turner Community Pool. Classes began Monday and will run for 10 weeks. An American Red Cross CPR/AED for Lay Responders certification course will be held Feb. 16, with a registration deadline of Jan. 23. Rodeo Seniors To Meet Friday
GERRY – The Rodeo City Senior Citizens will meet Friday at noon at the United Methodist Church in Gerry for their January luncheon and program. Those attending are asked to bring a dish to pass and their own table service. A program will follow the luncheon. Dues for the new year will be collected. New members are welcome.
Outdoor Club To Meet Thursday
On Thursday, the Allegheny Outdoor Club will hold its first planning meeting of the new year to schedule events for January, February and March. The meeting will begin at 5:30 p.m. with a dish-to-pass supper at the home of Debra and John Young, 1588 Townline Road, Russell. Epiphany Concert Set For Friday
WARREN – The annual Ecumenical Epiphany Concert will be held at 7 p.m. Friday in Holy Redeemer Church, 11 Russell St., Warren. Choral and instrumental groups, including a bell choir from area churches and schools, will each perform two favorite Christmas pieces. At the conclusion of the concert, all are invited to join in the singing of the ”Hallelujah Chorus.” Refreshments will be served following the concert.
Marco Polo Club To Host Dinner
The Marco Polo Club, 1027 E. Second St., Jamestown, will host a spaghetti dinner on Saturday from 4:30-7:30 p.m. The cost is $8 for adults and $4 for children.
Untouchables To Perform Friday
LAKEWOOD – The Untouchables will perform from 7-11 p.m. Friday at the Lakewood Legion. The dinner menu will be available from 5-9 p.m. Members and guests are welcome.
